Is the guide a real person?
No. Your guide is an artificial intelligence system, as stated in the notice above the plans and in the AI section of our Terms. It narrates, answers your questions and adapts your route as the day changes, but it is not a human guide and it can occasionally be wrong. Always check critical information such as opening hours, tickets and safety notices at the source. Creator routes are the one place where you hear a real person's voice: a creator's own voice, cloned with their consent, reading their own route.
Can the AI make things up?
Every fact the guide speaks comes from a verified record of that place. The AI is allowed to interpret, such as a sunset story or a side-street suggestion, but not to invent facts. When it does not know something, it says so.
Does it work offline?
No. WeGuide needs a connection while you are on tour, and there is no offline mode. An eSIM, a local SIM or a pocket Wi-Fi router works well with it and costs a fraction of a day of guiding.
What if I don't have my ticket yet?
That is a good time to start. Plan routes, save tours, set your preferences and browse the marketplace, all free and with no time limit. A pass only activates when you press Start Tour, usually on day one of your trip.
Is Premium really worth $59.99 for 7 days?
A private human guide in Tokyo runs $50 to $100 or more per hour. Trip Pass is $29.99 for your whole week. Premium is $59.99 for up to 5 full days of personal concierge. If it does not change how you walk the city, you get every dollar back within 30 days.

How long do my credits last?
Credits you buy are valid for 12 months. Your plan's weekly credits reset every 7 days and are always spent first. If a pass runs out, you go back to Free and every credit you bought stays on your account.
Do you have an iOS or Android app?
Android: yes, WeGuide is on Google Play, free to install. iPhone: the App Store version is in review; until it lands, open the web app in Safari and add it to your Home Screen. On a laptop it works straight in the browser.
What languages does WeGuide speak?
English, Polish and Japanese. Audio guidance and the text interface support all three.
What about my data?
Your preferences tune the guide for you; they are not sold, not used for ads and not shared. Tour data, such as where you walked, helps route the next traveller around the crowd in aggregated form. You can wipe everything from your account in two clicks. GDPR-compliant, stored on EU servers.
